Permit & Training Requirements
Business Entity Licensing
The Spotted Lanternfly permit is issued exclusively to the business entity. It is not an individual certification. All regulated businesses operating within or through quarantine zones must hold a valid permit registered to their specific legal operations.
Frontline Operations Training
Associated compliance training is designated for frontline staff, including but not limited to drivers, loaders, and operations employees. This curriculum ensures that personnel involved in the movement of goods and vehicles are equipped to perform required inspections and mitigate the spread of the Spotted Lanternfly.
Mandatory Assessment Requirements
In order for a business to receive and maintain a valid permit, at least one employee must successfully complete the required training module and pass the associated assessment. Failure to maintain a trained individual on record may result in the suspension or revocation of the business permit.
